Remember The Music 2019
Betty’s Foundation for the Elimination of Alzheimer’s Disease is a family operated nonprofit organization that was established in December 2008. Our mission is two-fold:
1. We aim to eradicate this disease by raising funds for the most innovative and progressive research programs in the country that are fighting to find the cause of and the cure for Alzheimer's disease.
2. We aim to educate families about Alzheimer’s disease, and to raise overall awareness of the difficulties faced by those dealing with the disease.
The Alzheimer’s Association estimates that as many as 5.3 million people in the United States are living with Alzheimer’s Disease and every 70 seconds a new person develops the disease. We aim to preserve memories and stop this disease from hurting our loved ones!

Who is Betty?
A hard-working woman of her community in her prime and a woman of honor to her family, Betty is free from her 16-year battle with Alzheimer's disease. She passed in the morning on Sunday, September 16, 2012. She was 84 years old.
Our memories of Grandma will always be wrappedaround her loving heart and stubborn ways. Images of a beautiful woman who was as comfortable behind the wheel of a two ton grain truck as she was in the kitchen or out on the town. A smile on her face, that was rarely missing, showed the world her love of life and family. She was strong-willed in a gentle way -- she had to be in order to endure the ups and downs of a life of farming.
We started our non-profit foundation in Grandma's name and we will continue in her name until a cure is discovered. I guess we are a bit strong-willed and stubborn too. Thank you Grandma!

Remember The Music Festival 2022

Remember The Music is an annual roots music festival benefiting Alzheimer's disease research organized by Betty's Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We are extremely pleased to be hosting our 10th annual Remember The Music event August 24, 2019 at Ernie Howlett Park in Rolling Hills Estates. This is an, ALL AGES, festival featuring music inspired by our roots, The Morning Yells, The Joy Reunion, Just Dave Band, and For The Kings. General Admission lawn seating, VIP tents, food trucks, craft beer vendors, children activities, and much more. Children 12 and under are free.
